We Are Proud To Announce That Texas Handgun Academy Now Utilizes The
Crossmatch Live Scan Digital Fingerprinting System To Fingerprint Our Students!

|
The Level 1 and Level 2 tests are a necessary step for you to become a licensed Non-Commissioned Security Officer in Texas. A Non-Commissioned Security Officer in Texas is not allowed to be in possession of a firearm while on duty.
The two tests are provided free of charge on the Private Security Bureau web site. They are taken and graded online. Remember to print out the results of the testing for your records.
Check the link http://www.txdps.state.tx.us/psb/testing/index.htm for taking the Level 1 and Level 2 tests online.
Taking and passing the two tests are not a requirement prior to attending our Level 3 course. Your employer can send a copy of your Level 1 and 2 results to the Private Security Bureau along with your application for the Level 3 Pocket Card.
Upon attending the Level 3 course, the instructor will have available a study guide to help you prepare for the Level 1 and 2 tests. The study guide will be at no charge for those attending the Level 3 course at Texas Handgun Academy.
